Alfred E. Siddall, 81, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. He was born on Nov. 9, 1935, in Marietta, Ohio, the son of the now late Emerson Siddall and Lydia (Elberfield) Siddall.
He was married to Gladys M. Klingler on Sept. 6, 1966, in Elizaville; Gladys passed away May 11, 2017.
Alfred attended Marietta High School in Marietta. He then served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. He had worked as a machine technician for A.B. Dick in Indianapolis. He retired from there after many years of service. Alfred was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was a member of the Elizaville Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Susan Morris of Lebanon; grandchildren, Charles Salts, Zachary Salts and Katie Salts; great-grandson, Landon Salts; brother, Mike Siddall of Marietta; sisters-in-law, Katherine Siddall in Camp Hill, Pa., and Judy Siddall of Georgia. In addition to his parents, Alfred was preceded in death by two brothers, William Siddall and Thomas Siddall; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Siddall. Visitation is to be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, May 15, for Alfred and his wife, Gladys, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, for Alfred and Gladys, at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Elizaville Cemetery in Elizaville.
