Anthony Mauro Simone, 71, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at his home in Lebanon. He was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, on Jan. 25, 1946, a son of the late Mauro and Carmella (Rocco) Simone.
He was married to Geraldine E. (Gunning) McGoldrick, they later divorced.
Raised and educated in Pennsylvania, Anthony then enlisted in the Pennsylvania National Guard. For a number of years, he ran the family business, Simone's Inn, located in Swissvale, Pennsylvania.
In the 1990s, Anthony moved to Lebanon. He was a recreational business owner, recently opening a new store on the Lebanon square called Simone Supply Company.
Fond of the outdoors, Anthony enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his dogs.
Survivors include daughter, Angila (Trevor) Darcy of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Shelby Barker, Mitchell Barker, Tristan Darcy, Ian Darcy, and Hayden Darcy; sister, Lucille (Carl) Ciampoli of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by a daughter, Christine Barker.
