Barbara Joan Piscador, 82, of Frankfort, formerly of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at IU Health in Lafayette. She was born in Lebanon on Dec. 14, 1934, a daughter of the now late Cecil Eli and Jessie Grace (Likens) Abbott.
On Dec. 24, 1952, she was married to Educardo P. Piscador, in Chicago, Ill. He passed away on Nov. 15, 2006.
Barbara had lived in Lebanon prior to her marriage. The family then resided in Chicago, where she worked at Lutamar until returning to Lebanon in 1979. While back in Lebanon, Barbara worked for Cattleman's Restaurant until her retirement in 1988.
She was a loving wife and mother. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, bingo and puzzles.
Survivors include two sons, Educardo P. Piscador Jr. of Chicago, and Larry S. Piscador of New York, N.Y.; brothers, Richard Abbott and wife, Carolyn, of Frankfort, Bill Abbott and wife, Marilyn, of Rossville, Larry Abbott and wife, Shirley, of Zionsville, Terry Lee Abbott and wife, Nesta, of Lebanon, and Danny Abbott and wife, Peggy of Rossville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Jo Piscador; a sister, Lucille Allen; and a brother-in-law, Charles Allen.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to the Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Manor, 1555 N, Main St., Frankfort, IN 46041.
