Bethany "Pep"'s Story
Bethany Pep Moore, 23, of Lebanon, passed away October 4, 2017, in Hamilton County.
Pep was born on November 23, 1993, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Doug and Jinger (Young) Moore.
Pep graduated from Lebanon High School in 2012. She then graduated from Ball State University and was currently attending St. Elizabeth School of Nursing.
Pep loved tennis, nursing, and cats. In high school tennis, she went 103-6 and advanced to State all four years; this broke the state record for the most wins. In addition to setting numerous high school records, she made first-team All-State, All-District, and All-Conference honors all four years.
She also played tennis for Ball State University doubles and singles. As a senior in 2016, she helped the womens tennis team win its first-ever Mid-American Conference Championship, allowing the team to play in the NCAA.
Since Pep was little, she always wanted to be a trauma nurse. She was months away from achieving this dream. Cats were the joy of her life. She loved cats especially Tank and Mo. Her good friends often jokingly referred to her as the crazy cat lady.
Survivors include her parents Doug and Jinger Moore of Lebanon; her brother DJ Moore of Lebanon; her grandparents Gerald Young of Lebanon, Barb Young of North Ft. Myers, FL, and Jim (Carla) Moore of Lebanon; her great-grandparent Arthur Young of Linden, IN; her aunts and uncles Julie (Jeff) Toole of Lebanon, Jeff Young of Mississippi, Jodi (Steve) Wooldridge of Maryland, Eric Moore of Florida, and Wesley (Rachel) Moore of Indianapolis; and her cousins Kashia Moore of Lebanon, Klayton Moore of Indianapolis, Clayton and Collin Campbell of Lebanon, Camren, Carson, and Caden Toole of Lebanon, and AJ, Adam, and Jasmine Young of Mississippi.
