Mrs. Betty Jo (Myers) Limp, 89, went Home Monday evening, July 17, 2017. She had fought a long, hard three-year battle with lung and heart disease. She was born in Greenwood on Aug. 31, 1927, a daughter of the now late Charles and Dora (Trisler) Myers.
On June 20, 1946, she was married to John William Limp in Indianapolis. Mr. Limp passed away on April 8, 1995.
Betty and her husband were farmers together in Boone County for many years, raising livestock and grain. She enjoyed farming with her husband and having a lovely garden and flowers. She refinished furniture in her spare time.
Betty and John had a daughter, DiAnn (Lynn) Riley; a granddaughter, Wendy (Matthew) Stevens; a deceased grandson, Troy Good, and his wife, Kris Rafferty; great-grandchildren, Cameron Holloway, Sarah and Melia Good, and Madison and Rhyse Stevens; a great-great-grandchild, Ben Riley; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by extended family members including Pat and Chris Riley and their families.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Betty was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, July 21, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Private family interment will follow visitation at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
