Mrs. Billie Jo Konkle, 39, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born March 11, 1978 in Clinton County, a daughter Patty (McKinney) Black and the late William "Bill" Black.
On April 25, 1998, she married Keith Andrew Konkle in Sheridan, Indiana. He survives.
Billie graduated from Lebanon High School in 1996. She attended and received her degree in childcare from J Everett Light in Indianapolis.
She was a loving mother, wife, daughter and sister. She enjoyed time with her kids and family. Billie loved the ocean in Florida. She loved music, singing and playing the organ at church. Billie enjoyed crafts and making beaded jewelry from her collection of clay.
Billie was a happy, cheerful, caring, loving and very spirited person. She could always make anyone smile and everyone whom she met loved her and her spirit. She could make anyone laugh with her quick wit. She also enjoyed cooking and baking.
Survivors include her husband, Keith Andrew Konkle; children, Kelsie JoAnn Konkle and Karson Andrew Konkle both of Lebanon; mom, Patty Ann (John Iddings) Black of Lebanon; sisters, Melissa Jean Ann (Jason) Marshall of Crawfordsville, Amanda Jane (Allen West) Snow of Lebanon and Heather Angel Minard of Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Billie is preceded in death by her father, William Charles Black; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation is planned from 1-3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., in Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. S. Allen Konkle, officiating. Interment will follow services at Sugar Plain Cemetery in Thorntown, Indiana.
