Carla Darrough, 56, went home to heaven to be with the Lord on Jan. 2, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born at Witham Memorial Hospital on Feb. 18, 1961, the daughter of Billy and Ruth (Revell) Hopper, who both survive. In May 1993 she married Mark Darrough, who also survives.
Carla attended Zionsville High School and Lebanon High School, graduating from Lebanon in 1979. She then attended the Metropolitan Beauty Academy, graduating in 1981. She was a talented hair stylist, working at Designer Cuts in Lebanon for 37 years with Lana Vickery, who was like a sister. She loved her clients and many had been with her for more than 30 years. She loved working on home improvements and decorating, always planning her next project. Nothing was too hard for her to tackle. She and her mother painted the outside of her house and the inside of her mother's house.
She attended the Friends Evangelical Church in Eagletown as a child and teenager, the First Assembly of God in Lebanon, and recently Traders Point Christian Church.
