Chebon Burton White, 42, of Thorntown, passed away Dec. 30, 2017, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.
Chebon was born on Feb. 3, 1975, in Lebanon, the son of Craig and Linda (Skow) White.
Chebon was a lifelong resident of Thorntown. He worked for Bill Estes Chevrolet as a service consultant for 9 years. Chebon was a faithful member of the Freedom Church. He enjoyed kayaking, triathlons and biking. Chebon was also involved in Boy Scouts and enjoyed attending pow wows. He loved being a daddy. He was always ready to help those in need, giving whenever possible. In his death, he gave life to 3 others through organ donation.
Survivors include his mother Linda White of Thorntown; his son Isaiah White of Avon; his brothers Robert White of Okla. and Jason (Krista) White of Muncie; his sister Andrea White of Lebanon; his aunt Pam Marcy of Nashville, Tenn.; and his uncles Randy Skow of Lebanon, Allen (Michelle) Skow of Lebanon and Tim Skow of Fla.; plus many cousins, nephews, and nieces. Chebon was preceded in death by his father Craig White and his uncle Rodger White.
Family and friends will gather for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 with Pastor Ryan Vinson officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N.
