Mr. Edward Lee Belcher, 63, passed away late Thursday evening, Jan. 11, 2018, at his home in Frankfort. He was born in Lebanon on Aug. 14, 1954, a son of the late Charles Wesley Belcher and Anna Louise (Neese) Belcher.
On July 2, 1994 he married Barbara J. (Kakasuleff) Campbell in Phoenix, Ariz. they later divorced and she survives.
Ed was a 1972 graduate of Thorntown High School and joined the United States Army. He was employed many years in Teamsters Local 120 Union as a Concrete Laborer/Foreman.
He enjoyed working outside, mowing and landscaping. He also enjoyed playing board games, dancing and being with family.
Survivors include one daughter, Michaela Rose Belcher of Lebanon; brother, Larry Belcher of Spring Lake, N.C.; sisters, Norma J. (John) Hedges of Lebanon and Emily J. (Jake) Bond of Frankfort; aunts, Madonna Belcher of New Brunswick and Rosie Spencer of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by two uncles, O'Emil Belcher and Clyde Spencer.
Funeral Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., in Lebanon. Visitation is planned from 2-4 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home in Lebanon. Burial of Ashes will be at a later date in Lincoln Memorial Gardens.
