Gordon L. Mullikin, 72, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Frankfort, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016, at his home. He was born Aug. 13, 1943, in Frankfort, a son of the now late James L. Mullikin and Mary Alice (Hollingsworth) Mullikin.
He was a 1961 graduate of Clinton Central High School and graduated from Indiana University in 1965. Following school, he was drafted into the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War.
Gordon had worked for Kraft Foods in Cincinnati for 35 years, retiring in 1999.
He was a member of the Kirklin Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed playing cards and doing yard work. Gordon was a loving brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.
Survivors include sister, Glenda K. Gibbs of Lebanon; nephew, Greg Gibbs and wife Sherri, of Lebanon; niece, Lisa Ford and husband, Tim, of Lafayette; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren Gibbs and fiancé, Kyle Bushman, of Brownsburg, Matthew W. Gibbs of Lebanon, Sean T. Ford of Philadelphia, Pa., and Kaitlyn N. Ford of Lafayette.
In addition to his parents, Gordon was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, William G. Gibbs.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort.
