Ina L. Moore, 91, a former Frankfort and Thorntown resident, died Jan. 14, 2018 at Brownsburg Health Care Center, Brownsburg. She was born Oct. 24, 1926 in Gary, to A.R. and Lilian (Stillenger) Shelton. She married John Moore on Jan. 3, 1960 and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2002. Mrs. Moore worked at Mallory's and Peter Paul in Frankfort and was of the Christian Faith. Ina was a former member of The Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts and playing penny poker. She is survived by two sons, John (Ginny) Sartin of Brownsburg and Jeff (Sally) Moore of Frankfort; two daughters, Patricia Sartin of Mooresville, and Tammy (Donnie) Carlton of Danville; two brothers, Kenny (Gloria) Shelton of Pensacola, Fla. and Doyle "Bud" (Betty) Shelton of Pueblo, Colo.; one sister, Maxine Sartin of Venice, Fla.; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. A memorial services will be at 5 p.m. on Feb. 3, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Thorntown. Memorial donations may be made to Clinton County Humane Society.
