Mr. James White Jr., 62, of Lebanon, passed away March 5, 2017, at Signature Healthcare of Parkwood in Lebanon.
James was born on May 26, 1954, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of the now late James H. and Sylvia Bethel (Slather) White.
Jim and Connie shared their life for 35 years; they were married on Dec 19. She survives.
James served his country in the United States Army, and he was stationed in Germany for four years.
In 1982, he moved to Lebanon from Pasadena, Texas. James owned Jim Dandy painting with a partner, Dan Jones, for 27 years, after which he retired due to health issues.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved camping, fishing and riding his trikes and motorcycles. His dogs Peppy and Princess were joys to him. Jim also enjoyed fellowship breakfast with the men's group at Trinity Faith Fellowship Church in Jamestown.
Survivors include his wife, Connie White of Lebanon; his son, James "Jimmy" White III of Lebanon; his daughters, Karrie Lynn (Bruce Krout) Hays of Lebanon, Cynthia Shirley of Thorntown, Kelly Bridges of Lebanon, Tonya (Shannon) Gamber of Lebanon, Stacy (Mike) Dale of Lebanon and Shawna (Daniel) Beauchot of Beech Grove; his grandchildren, Nikki (Troy Faulkner) Hays, Justin (Emily Dickerson) Witmer, Michelle Jackson, Thomas Jackson, Silka (Tommy Garland) Benge, Austin (Danielle Porter) Reiter, Brennen, Caleb, Jayden and Eli Bridges, Brittney, Megan (Nick Stump) and Christine Prickett, Matthew Lents, Celine, Kyle and Kaleb Gamber, Alex Dale, Sierra (Andrew) Newman, Michaela Dale, Kylie (Cody Seymour) Rady, and Dalton and Kolt Beauchot; and his great-grandchildren, Corbin Paul and Annabelle Rose Witmer, Damian Lee, Jasmine Dorothy, Cayden James Wyant, Sincere Rochell Lewis, Baily, Gabby, Faith and Joel Stump, Ayma Deann, Acelynn Jane and Sophia Hanley; and his sisters-in-law, Charlotte and Janie White, both of Ocala, Fla.
James was preceded in death by his sons, Eugene Wayne White and Terry Lynn Bradbury; his brothers, Richard and Rick White; and his grandchildren, Kiersten Spaulding and Abigale Beauchot.
Family and friends will gather Thursday, March 9, for visitation from 5 until 9 p.m., and services will be held Friday, March 10, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Tim Andreonopolous officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. James will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
