Mrs. Jeanette Allen, 69, of Orlando, Ky., formerly of Lebanon, passed away July 31, 2016. Jeanette was born on Aug. 13, 1946, a daughter of the now late Eugene and Almanda (Golladay) Bryant.
She was married to Gillus Allen. He survives.
Jeanette attended Lebanon High School. She retired after 34 years of service from Tokico Manufacturing.
Jeanette enjoyed her flower garden and loved her goats and chickens. Her passion was for the simple life in the hills of Kentucky.
Survivors include her husband, Gillus; son, Tim (Sallie) Martin of Mt. Vernon, Ky.; a sister, Judy (William) Jones of Lebanon; and brothers, Jim Bryant of Lebanon and Marvin (Patty) Golladay of Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather Saturday, Aug. 13, for visitation from 1 p.m. until the celebration of life service at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Scott Ailes officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Jeanette will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
