Mrs. Judith Anne Edmonds, 70, passed away on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was adopted and raised by the late Thurman and Margaret McAfee.
Judith graduated Lebanon High School. She first married Damon Leon Copas on Sept. 12, 1968, they later divorced and she then married Robert Edmonds; he survives.
Judith was employed at Economy Fire and Casualty Insurance for many years. She also worked at various grocery stores and Lebanon's Kmart.
She loved to travel, taking many road trips with her husband, listening to country music, and spending time with family.
Survivors include children, Kevin Lee (Ann) Copas of Indianapolis, Bryan Scott Copas of Lebanon and Jennifer L. Copas of Ill.; grandchildren, Evan Copas, Nicholas Copas and Cassandra Copas all of Indianapolis, Katie Edmonds and Chris Edmonds both of Miss.; one great-granddaughter, Mattie; a brother, John Reed of Colo.; and sisters, Helen of Fla., Ronnie of Wash., Susie and Sandy, both of Indianapolis.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 at Lincoln Memorial Gardens in Whitestown. Myers Mortuary in Lebanon is handling the arrangements for burial.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Central Indiana-Regional Office, 6500 Technology Center Drive, Suite #100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46077.
