Julianne W. (Lyons) Jump, 87, died of ovarian cancer on Sept. 12, 2017, at Hope Hospice House, a lovely caring facility in Cape Coral, Fla. Julie was born in Tilton, Ill, to Fannie Talbert and Harry Lyons, was the youngest of 10 children, and a graduate of Danville High School, Illinois.
She married William P. Jump, and lived most of her life in Boone County.
Julie retired from Paul Harris Stores as accounts manager, then worked part time for Jean's Hallmark, Zionsville. She was skilled at family genealogy, was an avid reader, and loved babies and cats.
Survivors include her six children, Rhonda (Chuck) Hibbert, Connie Jump, Rebecca Warner, Cynthia Languell, William (Diane) Jump III and Terri Halstead; five grandchildren, Mitchell (Markeeta) Languell, Jessica Riedel, Justin (Stephanie) Jump, William (Lauren) Jump IV and Brittian (Kassi) Warner; and six great-grandchildren, Riley Jump, Alexander Jump, Griffin Jump, Austin Jump, Charlotte Jump and Lincoln Languell. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, seven brothers and two sisters.
A memorial gravesite service will be held later this year, with cremation burial at Union Lutheran Cemetery, Zionsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (give.ovarian.org), to increase awareness of the symptoms and to prevent and cure ovarian cancer.
