Kent LeRoy Morrison, 62, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. He was born Sept. 20, 1954, in Colorado Springs, Col., a son of the now late Jim and Helen (Stombaugh) Morrison.
On Oct. 30, 1982, he was married to Amy A. Goodnight in Lebanon; she survives.
Kent was a 1973 graduate of Arlington High School in Indianapolis.
He worked as a paramedic at Witham Memorial Hospital for seven years. Then was employed for 25 years as a warehouse supervisor for Henry Schein Medical Supply Company in Indianapolis.
Kent was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lebanon.
He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and reading. Above all, he loved his family and enjoyed every moment that was spent together.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Morrison, son, Phillip (Amber) Morrison, and granddaughter, Penelope Morrison, all of Lebanon; brothers, Kevin (Joan) Morrison and Steve Morrison, all of Indianapolis; sister, Mary (Byron) Grounds of Indianapolis; brothers-in-law, Les (Debbie) Goodnight and Eric (Cindy) Goodnight, all of Lebanon; six nephews including Grant (Kerri) Goodnight of Lebanon; and a niece, Casey (Craig) Reynolds of Lebanon.
Visitation is planned for 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Memorial services will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Private family interment will be held at Mud Creek Cemetery in rural Lebanon.
