Linda Dawn Roark, 68, of Pittsboro, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Westside Garden Plaza in Indianapolis.
She was born Oct. 6, 1948, in Bloomsburg, Pa., daughter of the now late LeRoy Ohl and Mary (Houseknecht) Ohl Cragle.
Linda married Edwin Stacy Roark on May 22, 1971. He preceded her in death after 44 years of marriage.
She is survived by her son, Nathan (Nicole) Roark; daughter, Heather (Christopher) Van Gorp; sisters, Marcia (Michael) Hogg and Lynne (Paige) Mathews; sisters-in-law, Shirley Ohl and Susan Ohl Price; and grandchildren, Matthew Roark, Caleb Roark and Alexandra Van Gorp.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Earl and Larry Ohl; and stepfather, Ralph Cragle.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Linda's life from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 22, at the New Brunswick Church of Christ. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
