Mrs. Margaret "Peggy" Lucille Reagan, 89, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2018, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Indianapolis on Sept. 2, 1928, a daughter of the late William Christian and Velma Pake.
Peggy was born in Indianapolis, moved to Lebanon as a child. She graduated from Zionsville High School.
She was married to Jeff Reagan, Sr. in Lebanon, they later divorced and he passed away on July 4, 1996.
Peggy was a clerk at Alton Box Board Company and also worked 16 years at Lebanon Liquor Store, retiring at age 62.
She enjoyed flowers, and her dog, Snowball. Peggy, mother of eight children, always put her family's needs ahead of her own and always thinking of others.
Survivors include one daughter, Mildred M. "Pearl" McIntyre of Sebring, Fla.; sons, Patrick A. Reagan and wife, Cherry of Indianapolis, Mark E. Reagan and wife, Cheryl of Lebanon and Mike Ward and wife, Nancy of Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna Layton; three sons, Jeffie O. Reagan, Jr., Jeffery J. Reagan and William O. "Bill" Reagan; three sisters, Thelma Ward, Doris Martin and Mildred Pake; and one brother, Eddie Pake.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., in Lebanon. Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Interment will follow services at Salem Cemetery, Zionsville, Indiana.
