Mary Evelyn Price, 96, of Boulder City, Nev., formerly of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Nevada. She was born on Aug. 30, 1920, a daughter of the now late Ervin E. Worrell and Lena M. (Smith) Worrell.
A lifelong resident of Boone County, Mary graduated from Lebanon High School in 1938.
She was married on Feb. 20, 1948, in Lebanon, to George Price. Mr. Price passed away on May 9, 1985.
Mary had worked at Indiana Bell and then became an insurance clerk. She worked for Boone County Abstract, McCormick Agency and Jones, Burgess and Gennaro, before retiring in 1982.
She had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Lebanon.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include daughter, Nancy Houser and husband, Dennis, of Boulder City; and 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
