Mary K. Wray, 73, of Crawfordsville, formerly of Rockville, died at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette. She was a homemaker. She was born May 3, 1943, in Indianapolis, to the now late Lloyd Viles and Ruth Hannah Viles Moore.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Dennis L. Wray, whom she married Aug. 6, 1961, in Zionsville; two daughters, Kim (John) Asbury of Marshall and Kelly (Zane) Davies of Bloomingdale; two sisters, Beverly (Robert E.) Wilson of Rockville and Eleanor Keith of Scottsville, Ky.; six grandchildren, Michael Woody, Jacob (Brooke) Davies, Justin (Chelsy) Davies, Shelby (R.J.) Mahurin, Rachel (Josh Bundy) Asbury and Sam Asbury; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and stepfather, Dale Moore.
She was a 1961 graduate of Zionsville High School.
Visitation is 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., Rockville. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at the funeral home, with Pastor Mark Wilson and Pastor Dan Lutz officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville.
