Michael S.'s Story
Mr. Michael S. Yeoman, 63, of Lebanon, passed away Mar. 11, 2018.
Michael was born July 11, 1954 in Crawfordsville, the son of Donald P. and Mildred (Dunning) Yeoman.
Michael was a 1973 graduate of Crawfordsville High School. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Ft. Sill and Ft. Knox in 1980; in Germany from 1983-1986 and at Ft. Riley Kansas from 1986 to 1991 and was a Veteran of the Gulf War. After his active service he served in the National Guard until 1995. He worked as a welder with Union Local 20.
Michael was a member of the Lebanon Eagles, VWF Post 113, the American Legion and the VWF Color Guard.
Survivors include his children David Yeoman of McCordsville, Jennifer Elston of Delphi and Elizabeth Ruark of Lebanon; a brother Chuck Yeoman of Arizona; the mother of his children Cynthia Keim and grandchildren: Bethany Yeoman, Emily Yeoman, Haley Grizzle, Gabrial Grizzle, Gavin Elston, Brandon Eavey, and Corey Ruark. Michael was preceded in death by his wife Deborah Yeoman, a brother James Yeoman and son-in-law Kyle Elston.
Family and friends will gather Wednesday, Mar. 14, 2018 for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Michael will be laid to rest following Military rites at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown.
