Mildred Ruth Fausset, 91, of Kirklin, died at 2:45 p.m. Dec. 1, 2016, at Signature at Parkwood in Lebanon. She was born March 27, 1925, in rural Boone County, to Alvaro D. and Mattie E. (McDonald) Morton
She married Donald A. Fausset on March 9, 1946, in the Salem United Presbyterian Church/Mud Creek; he preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1998.
Mildred was a 1943 graduate of Kirklin High School.
A homemaker, Mildred, along with her husband, was very active in the family farm. She also worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for People's Life Insurance Company and Lafayette Life, and for J. V. Goar Realty.
Mildred was a member of the Kirklin Christian Church, where she was involved in the Missionary Society. She was also a member of the Eunice Club.
Survivors include daughter, Debra M. Koppelmann of Kirklin; two sons, Don M. (wife Jane) Fausset of rural Kirklin, and Dennis M. (wife Linda) Fausset of rural Kirklin; four grandchildren, Richard Koppelmann Jr., Molly K. (husband C.J.) Whitehead, Grant (wife Lindsey) Fausset and Neil (wife Hadleigh) Fausset; eight great-grandchildren, Alexis D. Koppelmann, Madeleine M. Whitehead, Bellamy S. Fausset, Tress D. Fausset, Samuel G. Fausset, Marah C. Fausset, Cylas D. Fausset and Callum D. Fausset.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, with the service following at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. David Ashbaugh will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
