Miriam  Coleman (Sullivan)


Miriam Coleman (Sullivan) age 91 passed away suddenly on February 14th, 2019 in San Angelo Texas. Miriam was born April 27, 1927 in Lebanon IN.
Early in her career she worked for Edgar Whitcomb, at the Indiana Secretary of State's office. She moved her family to Texas in 1968 and then worked for JC Penny's. She retired from JC Penny's after 25 years of faithful service. Her work ethic and knowledge of accounting earned her many positions, to include management. She went on to bring new stores online, incorporating their accounting procedures and computer data systems. Miriam enjoyed accounting, "she loved the numbers." After retirement she painted, crocheted, knitted, and sewed all types of crafts. Her talents allowed her to open her own business and she had a lot of fun creating and sharing.
Miriam is survived by two son's Stephen and Samuel, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son William Patrick Study.
Services will be held at 10am June 15th at Myer's Funeral Home, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon IN 765-482-0620. In lieu of flowers please donate to her son Sam 321-412-1257 for Miriam's favorite entertainment "Elvis Impersonator" at Senior Care of San Angelo.
