Phyllis Ann's Story
Mrs. Phyllis Ann Mezger, 85, of Lebanon, passed away Mar. 11, 2018, at Homewood Health Campus.
Phyllis was born Mar. 3, 1933 in Toledo, OH, a daughter of Ralph and Geraldine (Culbertson) Konst. She was married on Dec. 30, 1955 to Gerhard Gary Mezger. He survives.
Phyllis was a homemaker. She liked to play cards and Euchre. She loved the outdoors and going camping. She was fond of animals and especially liked dogs and horses. Phyllis was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed singing too. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Other survivors include her daughters Lorrie (Bob) Brehmer of Lebanon and Linda (Brent) Gwaltney of Houston, TX; grandchildren: Derek (Melissa Osborne) Lorenzen, Tara Lorenzen, Craig Lorenzen, Nathan Lorenzen, Kristin Fortunski, and Morgan Fortunski; a great-grandchild Silas Lorenzen; sister-in-law Joanne Konst, of Tualatin, OR, nephews: William (Michelle) Konst, Jr., Doug (Leslie) Konst and son Luke; a niece Susan Rupert and son Ryan, and niece Ingrid (Klaus) Fellmann of Marl, Germany. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William E. Konst.
Family and friends will gather Friday, Mar. 16, 2018 for a visitation from 6 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2625 Elm Swamp Rd., Lebanon, IN 46052.
