Mr. Ralph L. Cline, Sr., 71, of Whitestown, passed away Jan. 11, 2018, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.
Ralph was born Nov. 29, 1946 in Boone County, the fourth son of the late William Adrian and Ruthie Mae (Shoemaker) Cline. He married Shirley Snow on Sept. 3, 1966. They just celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. She survives.
Ralph graduated from Lebanon High School in 1966. He enjoyed farming the land that had been in his family for generations, beginning with his grandfather. He retired from James H. Drew Corp. where he worked and was a member of Local Union 120 for 18 years. Ralph also enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up and playing sports. He liked to travel and especially liked Las Vegas and the Bahamas. He also enjoyed looking for seashells
Survivors include his wife Shirley Cline of Whitestown; his children Ralph "Junior" (Amy) Cline of Whitestown and Lisa (Scott) Climer of Jamestown; his brothers George (Dotty) Cline of Lebanon and Ron (Penny) Cline of Lebanon; his sister Margaret (Cecil) Blankenship of Lebanon; his grandchildren Sydney Climer, Aaron Cline, Lydia Climer and Mackenzie Cline; his sister-in-law Joy Cline; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by his brothers Robert G. Cline and Charles E. Cline.
Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018 for visitation until the time of the service at 6 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon.
