Raymond married me and Steve Luper in Oct 27 1967, at Mechanicsburg Christian Church where Steve and his family were members. He was a lie long friend of the Luper family., He also baptised my 3 sons at Mechanicburg. He spent many New Years parties at my in laws Robert and Vinnie Luper and other church members. He was the only minister i felt comfortable to talk to . He never judged or told you what to do he just helped you work thru your problems no matter what they were., He was more like a dad to me and my family. We loved his nice fancy cars the were long and shiny and looked like they just came off a show room floor..He always had a smile on his face and a giggle in his voice just a... really great soul who will be missed tremendously by his whole congregation , He left us all with great words and wisdom we will remember till we pass, I know he is up there smiling and preacing the best he can , i am sure my in laws are happy to see him and my husband Steve as well , One day i will get to see him again and that will be a glorious day. Rest in peace Raymond you deserve it. I wish there was a phone in heaven so we could talk to our loved ones . love them all and miss themRead more

I just wanted the family to know that when I was around 15 Raymond thought that I ought to go into the ministry, but being a teenager I was not listening. Just a note I started Bible College a few years ago and just graduated in January a little late in life, but Raymond was my hero. I had the rare opportunity of preaching to him at Crown Point when he resided there for awhile...what a thrill but very nervous. But Raymond made me feel special, I will never forget it!
