Rhonda F. Denton, age 56, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017.
Rhonda lived her life both bold and fierce. Never a follower, she would often lead and direct a task or situation as she saw fit. When given a path to choose, she often chose to blaze a new one of her own make and design.
Those who knew her will remember her in different ways, but each with a single commonality; that she was indeed memorable. It is within those memories that her spirit and influence will live on.
She is survived by her husband, John Denton; two daughters, Renee (Brock) Roberts and Gina (Matt) Pfeiffer; grandchildren, Mallory, Lauren and Duke Pfeiffer; her parents, Dick and Donna Shover; her sister, Brenda (Billy) Cadle; lifelong friend, Barb (Kirk) Yates; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Randy and Rick Shover. Memorial observation will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 31, at the Lebanon Christian Church, 610 W. 250 N, Lebanon. Memorial services, conducted by Minister Kurt Alexander, will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the church.
If inclined, friends may make a memorial contribution to the Boone County Cancer Society, 117 W. Elm St., Lebanon, IN 46052, or at boonecountycancersociety.org.
Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her care. Online condolences may be made at www.myersmortuary.com.
