Mr. Rodney Howson, 80, of Lebanon, passed away May 8, 2017, at the Mulberry Health Care Center in Mulberry. He was born on Oct. 16, 1936, in Lebanon, a son of the now late Russell and Myrtle (Cunningham) Howson.
Rodney married Bonnie Williams on Aug. 22, 1958. She died in 2015.
He graduated from Lebanon High School.
Rodney was a tool and die maker. He worked for Alton Box Board Co., Chrysler and Pamida.
Survivors include his daughter, Pamela (Kevin) Brown of Frankfort; grandchildren, Michael (Lizz Nance) Bell, Joshua (Tia Mounts) Bell and Amanda (Richard) Wallsmith; great-grandchildren, Austin Bell, Chloe Bell, Abigail Sutton and Jordan Bell; and siblings, Shirley (Wes) Scott of Frankfort, Trudy Wells of Mitchell, Linda Treanor of Bedford and Steve Howson of California.
Family and friends will gather Thursday, May 11, for visitation from 5 until 7 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon.
