Ronald "Ronnie"'s Story

Ronnie Jay Fulwider, 79, passed away on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, in Avon, surrounded by his family. He was born on Nov. 20, 1938 in Sheridan to the late Charlie Fulwider and Maxine (Wiles) Boyer.
Ronnie graduated in 1956 from Sheridan High School. He was married to Elva M. Hale and later divorced. He then married Cynthia (Mitchell) Fulwider on Dec. 12, 1993 in Las Vegas.
He worked for Link-Belt (Rexnord Power Transmission) as a screw machine operator. He was also an Independent Insurance Agent.
Ronnie loved the great outdoors, especially fishing and hunting, and was a life member of NRA. He was an avid sports fan for Pacers, Colts and Purdue and also was a member of Bainbridge Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Fulwider of Avon; daughters, Lisa M. Smith and husband, Daniel; Ronni Rene Robinette and husband, Bryan; son, Jesse Fulwider and wife, Amanda of Danville; step-daughter, Melany Couch of Roachdale; two step-sons, Tommy McIntire of Vincennes and Scott McIntire of Michigan City; grandchildren, Natalie Rene Smith of Ft. Worth, Texas, Hannah Smith of Ft. Worth, Texas, Garrett Fulwider, Braxton Fulwider and Sutton Graham Fulwider. all of Danville; step-grandchildren, Savannah Couch of Roachdale and Colton Couch of Roachdale; brothers, Bob (Deb) Fulwider of Florida and John (Sandra) Fulwider of Sheridan; two sisters, Judy Henderson of Brenhan, Texas and Sue (Ed) McNeeley of Westfield, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Ann Adair.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018 at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. Online condolences: www.myersmortuary.com
