Mrs. Shelba Osborne, 78, of Lebanon, passed away Jan. 15, 2017, at Parkwood Health.
Shelba was born on Dec. 3, 1938, in Hale, Ky., the daughter of the now late Vola and Nettie (Edwards) Meece. She was married to John D. Osborne. He died in 2014.
Shelba graduated from Lebanon High School. She was a secretary for Western Southern Insurance Company and Parkwood Nursing Home.
Shelba was a member of Hope Community Church.
Survivors include her children, Nancy (Mark) Gregory of St. Cloud, Fla, and John David Osborne II of Lebanon; grandchildren, Amanda Gregory, Molly Gregory, Adam Gregory, Dustin (Gina) Melvin and Dominique Melvin; great-grandchild, Braylon Donaldson; a brother, Stan (Janet) Meece of Lebanon; a sister, Judi Wagoner of Nineveh; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter-in-law, Sandy Osborne.
Family and friends will gather Thursday, Jan. 19, for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services at noon, with Pastor Bill Watts officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Shelba will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
