Thomas Wayne Green, 25, of Jamestown, passed away Sept. 9, 2016, in Boone County.
Wayne was born Nov. 17, 1990, in Lebanon, the son of John William and Kathryn Louise (Shanklin) Green.
Wayne worked as a commercial dump truck driver. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, water skiing and fishing. He also enjoyed participating in demolition derbies. Wayne loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the Local 135 Teamsters.
Survivors include his parents, John and Kathy; sister, Jennifer (Kevin) Sartin of Thorntown; fiancée, Jessica Dennis; grandparents, Clarence and Wanda Shanklin of Lebanon; niece, Adalyn Sartin; nephews, Liam and Keenan Sartin; his fiancée's children, Jerica, Johnaven and Jelena Dennis; aunts, Dana (Ray) Dunn and Margo Green and her significant other, Chris Brown; cousin, Cassondra Brown; and his fiancée's parents, John and Helen Dennis. Wayne was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Carolyn Green. Wayne was also able to meet his child Baby J.
Family and friends will gather Sunday, Sept. 11, for visitation from 2 until 6 p.m. and services will be held on Monday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m., with the Boone County Sheriff's Chaplain Joni Scott officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon.
