Willodean Martha Dye, 92, of Anderson, passed away on March 11, 2018 at St Vincent Indianapolis. She was born on July 10, 1925 in Pike Township, Indiana.
Willodean graduated from Pike Township High School, Class of 1943.
She worked as a Secretary for Container Corporation for 11 years, Social Security Administration for two years and retired from Anderson University for nine years, retiring in 1989.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she volunteered and was active in the Women's Group. She was also a volunteer for Friends of the Library.
Willodean is survived by her son, Jon (Nancy) Dye; sister, Arlene Hayden; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Emma Schooler; husband, Arthur Dye; and sister, Mildred Good.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Don Deena Johnson officiating.
Burial will take place in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon at approximately 2 p.m. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Anderson First United Methodist Church, 1215 Jackson Street, Anderson, IN 46016.
