Yvonne N. Manier, 56, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at Wellbrooke of Westfield in Westfield. She was born in Bloomington on Sept. 3, 1960, a daughter of Phil A. Pickett and Carolyn (Waitt) Pickett Williams.
Yvonne graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a major in physical therapy. She later received her master's from the University of Indianapolis.
Following graduation, she worked for Tipton Hospital until moving to Lebanon in 2004. While in Lebanon, Yvonne worked at Witham Memorial Hospital in the physical therapy department until she became ill. Her last assignment was working at Stokes Elementary School as a therapist, and with home health patients.
Yvonne's pride and joy was her son, Brandon C. Manier. He graduated from Indiana University Kelly School of Business and received his master's from Purdue University. He taught at Purdue for one year. Brandon is currently attending the University of Minnesota, working on his doctorate.
Yvonne was a loving daughter, sister and mother, and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include mother, Carolyn Williams and husband, Joseph A. Williams, of Lebanon; father, Phil A. Pickett of Sheridan; son, Brandon Manier of St. Paul, Minn.; three sisters, Penny L. Manier and husband, Mark, Diana K. Nommay and husband, Pat, and Sonja J. Burkley and husband, Chris; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services are planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date at Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan.
Memorials may be made in her honor to a charity of the donor's choice.
