Mrs. Alice Jane Ginn, 95, of Brownsburg, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville. She was born in Brownsburg on June 11, 1921, a daughter to the now late Harry Hughes and Zelma Lee (Thornburgh) Hughes.
Alice was a graduate of Brownsburg High School.
On June 5, 1941, she was married to Marion C. Ginn at the Brownsburg Christian Church; he preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1996.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who took great pride in her family.
Alice was a member of the New Brunswick Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Leslie Shaffer and husband, James, of Brownsburg, Sharon Colglazier and husband, Randy, of Greentown and Barbara Smith and husband, Carl, of Lizton; grandchildren, Brian Shaffer and wife, Kathryn, Hillary Moore and husband, Rob, Wade Colglazier and wife, Janet, Scott Colglazier and wife, Becky, Erin Morrison and husband, John, Ryan Smith and wife, Melissa, and Andrew Smith and wife, Brittany; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Alice was preceded in death by brothers, Frank, Meredith and Richard Hughes.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at the mortuary. Interment will follow at the K of P Cemetery in Lizton.
