Anne Frances Wood, 86, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, March 06, 2017, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. She was born in Connersville on April 11, 1930, a daughter of the now late James F. and Catherine (Didelot) Mosteller.
Anne attended Connersville schools in Connersville, and then Corydon High School in Corydon.
She was married to Frank Wood Jr. on May 5, 1950, in Indianapolis. Mr. Wood passed away on April 17, 1997.
Anne had been a resident of Boone County since 1950. She had worked for the LaMar Shop and Leonard's in Lebanon. She was a member of the Hoosier Heritage Quilt Guild and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed knitting and quilting in her free time.
Survivors include children, Kaye Ann Korth of Lebanon, Judy Karg of Fort Wayne, Joe Wood and wife, Veronica, of Columbus, Ohio, and Mark Allen Wood of Olympia, Wash.; grandchildren, Rory Wood of Lebanon, Ryan Wood and wife, Maria, of CrownPointe, Sam French and wife, Sarah, of Fort Wayne, Michael Wood of Ohio, Katie Wood of Ohio, Jacob Korth and wife, Sara, of Atlanta, Ga., and Michael Korth and wife, Jamie, of Pittsboro; great-grandchildren, Noah Korth, Cecelia Korth, Olivia Wood, Elizabeth Wood, Maggie French, Graham French, Drew Korth, Wyatt Korth and Vivienne Korth; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Alyvia Tudor and Gavin Tudor.
Visitation will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 10, at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 319 E. South St., Lebanon. A memorial Mass is to be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Timothy Kroeger officiating.
Burial of Ashes will be held at a later date at Mts. Runn Cemetery in Boone County.
Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her arrangements.
