Billy James Williams, 66, of Kokomo, passed away at 8:10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at his residence. Born April 18, 1950, in Lebanon, he was the son of the now late Merle E. Williams and Dorothy (Grater) Williams.
He was employed as a supervisor with Kokomo Memorial Park for 25 years. He loved to fish, collect old model cars, and watch John Wayne movies.
Survivors include one step-daughter Barbara Williams of Florida; two brothers George (Donna) Williams of Lafayette, and David (Kathy) Williams of Tipton; one sister Angie (Ken) Garmon of Tipton; and two grandchildren.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, his companion Theresa Gamblin; one sister Sarah K. England; three nieces Alisha England, Lisa Munsell and Marcella Brescoll; one nephew David Hicks; one great niece Susan Beatty.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the mortuary. Funeral services will be noon Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo. Thomas Randall Williams will officiate.
Burial will take place at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Thorntown. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
