Carolyn Brontelle "Brontë" Borsheim Christian, 64, of Northport, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was born to the late James and Ruth Borsheim on March 1, 1953 in Le Mars, Iowa.
Brontë attended Westmar College in Le Mars, Iowa and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and a Minor in French and German. She knew that she was called to serve as a minister of Jesus Christ. In 1980 she entered the Way Corps training and graduated with a bachelor's degree in theology in 1983. That was not her only significant milestone that year, later she was married to Terry Christian and they would have celebrated 34 years of marriage this July.
Carolyn is survived by husband Terrence W. "Terry" Christian; brother, David (Pia) Borsheim; sister, Gretchen (Russ) Schaeffer; father-in-law Robert T. Christian; sister-In-Law Melissa Ebert; nephew, Matthew (Cassie) Ebert; niece Carolyn Schaeffer (Nick) Koziol; and great-nephew, Aiden Ebert.
Visitation will be 3 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 7, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Services will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
