Charles L. French, 69, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. He was born in Lebanon on March 21, 1948, a son of the late Richard Lee French and Esther Lovine (Dunn) French Tunnell Golden.
On July 23, 1994, he married Alice Lee (Wethington) French in Lebanon; she survives.
Charles attended Lebanon High School and worked as a welder for Lau Blower for 21 years.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and loved his family and friends. He enjoyed walking his dog and was an avid Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include, his wife, Alice L. French; son, Rob French; grandchildren, Tori Curtis, Lexie Curtis, and Melissa French; brothers, Richard (Nancy) French, Johnny (Jeannie) Tunnell, Tom French, Bob French, Jerry French, and Joe French; sisters, Carolyn (Jeff) Davis, Brenda Cox, Nancy (Art) Smith, and Janie (Todd) Heffer; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa French; and two sisters, Linda Jones and Debi See.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his care.
