Daniel Wing, 57, passed away on Wednesday evening, July 19, 2017, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, after a battle with cancer. He was born in Frederick County, Va., on July 26, 1959, a son of Oren Lavern Wing and the now late Martha Elaine "Marty" (Judd) Wing.
He attended Heritage Christian School and graduated in the second class of Lawrence North High School in 1978, both in Indianapolis.
Daniel was employed in construction for a short time, then in the painting business and in home financing. He excelled in auto sales in North Carolina, Florida and in Indiana, until his health required him to retire.
Survivors include father, O. Lavern Wing of Lebanon; two, brothers, Timothy L. Wing and wife, Julie, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Samuel J. Wing of Richmond, Va.; sister, Rebekah Joy Brown and husband, Stephen, of Richmond, Va.; several aunts and uncles; two nieces and a nephew, Ashley Burchfield, Amber Tellez and Ozric Wing Panza; and three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, July 24, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Fayette.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
