Don Richard Weber, 77, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at his home.
Don was born Jan. 14, 1939, in Lebanon, to Earl W. Weber and Mary Genette Armstrong Weber; they preceded him in death.
A lifelong resident of Boone County, Don graduated from Lebanon High School in 1957, and continued his education at Purdue University studying agriculture. He then returned to his family farm and worked alongside his father.
In his spare time, Don enjoyed landscaping, woodworking, hunting, fishing and working with his backhoe. He was an avid supporter of the Boone County 4-H program and a member of the Indiana National Guard.
Don was a lifelong member of Central Christian Church, where he married Karen "Suzie" Owens on Oct. 10, 1958. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are a sister, Barbara (Weber) Shonk (Shellie); a son, Richard Earl (Brenda) Weber; a daughter, Lori Anne Weber (Geff) French; four grandchildren, Whitney L. Weber, Zachary R. Weber, Elijah C. Weber and Maci S. W. French; and one great-granddaughter, Gretchen S. Weber. Several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at the mortuary, with the Rev. Brad Miller officiating. Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
