Donald "Donnie" Bogan, 66, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. He was born Aug. 6, 1950, in Lebanon.
Don retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving for 23 years. He was a longtime member of the American Legion and an exceptional HVAC technician. He loved reading, music and motorsports, and never met a stranger.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Donald E. Bogan and Chrystal (Harmon) Collins; a brother, Rick Bogan; and a brother-in-law, Ron Walker.
Don is survived by his wife, Peggy Sue Bogan; two sons, Clinten (Alicia) Bogan and Clayten James Bogan; three stepchildren, Joseph (Jessie) Somers, Matthew (Tessy) Somers and Tara (Christopher) Stark; seven grandchildren, Colten, Jace, Eli, Alice, Owen, Lucas and Evelyn; two siblings, Tom (Penny) Bogan and Vicki Walker; two stepsiblings, Edward Collins and Carol Lane; and sister-in-law, Becky Bogan.
Don is loved and missed by his wife, children, family and friends.
A celebration of life is planned for next spring.
