Herb Fredrick Normann Jr., 76, of Lebanon, passed away at his home on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, after battling congestive heart failure for many years. He was born in Indianapolis, on Oct. 10, 1939, a son of the now late Herbert F. Normann Sr. and Helen (Brown) Normann.
Herb graduated from Pike High School. He then served in the United States Marine Corps.
He was married to Zakeyeh (Hallal) Normann, and they spent 46 loving years together.
Herb spent his professional life as a tradesman in the printing industry, where he owned a print production company, B&H Printing; and he eventually retired from Pike Township School System after 18 years of running their division.
Herb was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed guns, classic cars and a cold beer with his family and friends.
Survivors include wife, Zakeyeh Normann of Lebanon; son, Marc Normann of Missouri; and grandson, Calvin Normann.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.
