Mr. John Thomas Fisher, 65, of Lebanon, passed away Oct. 10, 2016, at Signature Health Care at Parkwood in Lebanon.
John was born June 6, 1951, in Lebanon, a son of the now late Leonard and Margaret (Wathen) Fisher. He married Denise McClure on Jan. 24, 1970. She passed away Jan. 14, 2012.
John attended St. Joseph Elementary School and he graduated from Lebanon High School. He then served his country in the United States Army from 1971 until 1973, and was in the Army Reserve until 1977. John worked for Lincoln Memory Gardens for over 20 years. He then worked as a truck driver for several different companies.
Survivors include his children, April (Kurt) Gott of Jamestown and John Fisher Jr. of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Joshua Farley, Nathen Fisher, Samantha Fisher, Drew Gott, Ella Gott and Jagger Gott; and his siblings, David Fisher of Louisiana, Mike (Teresa) Fisher of Lebanon, Donna Fisher of Lebanon, Jeff (Pam) Fisher of Lebanon, Linda Sutherlin of Pittsboro and Pam (Dale) Davis of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife Denise, John was preceded in death by his brothers, Steve and Jimmy Fisher.
A private graveside service has been arranged for a later date.
