Kitty Ann Garnand, 64, and a former Plymouth resident, passed away Aug. 9, 2016, in her home. Kitty was born March 28, 1952, in Plymouth, to Kenneth B. and Hilda M. (Lamborn) Bowman.
She graduated from Plymouth High School.
Kitty was the beloved mother of daughter, Kelly Lynn Sheets, and son, Matt Todd Garnand.
Her unconditional love, support and strength have been an example of compassion and a true testament to all those who knew her. Even as the end drew near, her thoughts were always with those she loved first and foremost.
Kitty was a former member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Plymouth, and was involved in home economics clubs.
Kitty is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Lee Sheets; son and daughter-in-law, Matt Garnand and Brooke Shepherd; mother, Hilda Bowman of Plymouth; and brothers, Kent (Judy) Bowman of Plymouth and Hal (Karen) Bowman of Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Land officiating. Burial will follow in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
