Norman Harry Mutter, 79, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, at his home. He was born in Chicago, Ill., on Feb. 23, 1937, a son of the now late Herman Jacob Mutter and Josephine (Wukitch) Mutter.
Norman served in the United States Air Force for four years. He attended school at Lane Technical in Chicago and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
For many years, Norman worked as a sales representative in the oil supply industry.
He was a devoted father and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include children, Norman A. Mutter and fiancée, Shanan Beachey, of Lebanon and Tamara S. Gibbons of Lafayette.
In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Family and friends will gather from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at The Barn, 1404 W. South St., Lebanon.
Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory are handling the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
