Richard "Ricky"'s Story
Richard O. "Ricky" Musser, 63, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017, at his home in Lebanon. He was born in Elmira, N.Y., on July 4, 1954, a son of the now late Helen Almeda (Wood) and Charles Arthur Musser Sr.
In 1969, at the age of 14, Ricky moved with his family to Lebanon.
He worked for several fast food restaurants in Lebanon, and also at the Boone County ARC.
Ricky was a loving son, brother and uncle. He enjoyed bowling, Colts football and IU basketball.
He was a member of the Light House Baptist Church in Lebanon and a participant in the Boone County Special Olympics.
Survivors include siblings, Charles A. "Butch" Musser Jr. of Lebanon, Debra D. Reed and husband, Marvin, of Lebanon, Roger Dale Musser of Speedway, Michael Ray Musser and wife, Tammy, of Lebanon, and Catherine Diane "Cathy" Musser of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Ann Musser; and a brother, William Andrew Musser.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
