Sally's Story

Sally Ann Rotzoll, 59, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday evening, Jan. 28, 2017, at Essex Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lebanon. She was born in Lebanon on May 5, 1957, a daughter of Teddy Donald Farris Sr. and Donna Rose (Venis) Farris Peters.
She was married to Gary W. Rotzoll Sr. in Lodi, Wis. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 2009.
Sally was a longtime resident of Lebanon, with the exception of a period of time that she lived in Wisconsin and Alabama. She had worked as a bartender and owned a car detailing business.
Sally loved her family, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She liked to play pull tabs.
Survivors include children, Thomas Rotzoll of Lebanon, Nathan Newby of Edinburg, Joshua Rotzoll of Lodi, Judy Herring of Lebanon and Patricia Lane of Lebanon; stepchild, Joshua Rotzoll of Lodi; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Teddy Farris Jr. and companion, Kathy Shull, of Lebanon, and Mark Davidson and wife, Amanda, of Zionsville; sisters, Barbara K. Harper of Salem, Joyce Vanfossen of Lafayette, Myra Newby and life partner, Kim Wilder, of Kansas City, Mo., Debbie Spenneberg of Danville, and Beth Murphy of Indianapolis; stepsister, Carol Lane and husband, Gary, of Tennessee; stepbrother, Edward Collins of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Sally was preceded in death by a son, Gary Wayne Rotzoll Jr.; a sister, Donna Veach; and three brothers-in-law, Robert "Pops" Harper, Willard Vanfossen and Charles Murphy.
Visitation is planned for 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Cremation has been entrusted to Boone County Crematory in Lebanon.
