Wm. Norman Long, 80, of Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
He was born Aug. 14, 1936, a son of the now late Russell and Ida Mae (Storm) Long.
Norman married Geneva Pennock on Sept. 5, 1956.
He was a member of the Providence Christian Church, the Montgomery County Pioneer Association and the Covered Bridge Antique Power Association.
Norman enjoyed spending time with his family, working on tractors and going on tractor drives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Julia (Larry) Lovall; grandchildren, Erin Lovall, Matt Snyder, Bobby Snyder and Elizabeth (Nick) Miller; great-grandchild, Jacob Snyder; and sisters, Barbara Baker and Phyllis Mooney. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Herbert and Gene.
Family and friends will gather Saturday, July 1, at 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, 315 W. Main St., Jamestown. Norman will be laid to rest in the Shannondale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Providence Christian Church, 311 Dry Branch Dr., Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
