Bradley J. Anderton
Bradley Anderton, 62, passed away Wednesday morning, February 19, 2020 at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born November 13, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late Raymond and Freida Anderton.
Brad attended schools in Columbus and graduated from Carmel High School. He had worked for Bob Evans in Lebanon and Boston Market in Indianapolis.
He married Nancy L. (DeWitt) Anderton; she survives. They had shared 23 years together.
Brad loved cook outs with his family and studying his Bible. He had attended the Baptist Church in Carmel. He was an avid bowler and on a Carmel bowling league. He also enjoyed golf and was introduced to scuba diving by his father who took Brad and Craig on diving excursions to many beautiful islands.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy L. Anderton; brother, Craig (Susan) Anderton; sisters-in-law, Mary R. DeWitt and Billie Jean Herrmann; nephew, Rob Herrmann; grandson, Matthew Doke; and a great grandson, Elijah W. Doke who brought him great joy.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, Brad was preceded in death by a grandson, Wilbur Doke, Jr.; mother-in-law, Rosemary DeWitt; and brother-in-law, Douglas Herrmann.
In honor of Brad's request there will be no services held. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made in Brad's memory to the Boone County Cancer Society or to the Indiana Stroke Institute at Indiana University Medical Center. Online condolences:
