Connie Veatch Obituary

Lebanon, Indiana - Connie Veatch, 77, of Lebanon, died Friday, August 22 at her residence. Connie was born on March 2, 1948 in Frankfort, Indiana; the daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Gosewehr) Lawhead. She attended Frankfort High School until her senior year when she transferred and graduated from the Lebanon High School with the class of 1966. On December 30, 1978 she married David Veatch, a loving union that lasted over 46 years. Connie had worked for Webb Wheel and the Lebanon Reporter.


Survivors include her husband; son, Jacob Veatch of Lebanon; grandchild, Kylie (Derek) Allen of Frankfort and great-grandson, Mason Allen. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Merrell Cunningham Wright.


Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, August 27 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Hunter officiating in the Strawmyer and Drury Mortuary, 2400 N.
